š Got the Fear Of Missing Outā¦ But On What?
Hello dear friend,
Long time no e-mail! My writer identity crisis took longer than expected (as with many things in life that are worth enduring). Itās still a work-in-progress, of course, but it really helped that I was able to experiment and reflect on my writing in the past months.
Now Iām back with this newsletter! Iām excited to share with you my insights and stories. Starting off with a light, perceptive readā¦ about my phoneās wallpaper.
You know how whenever we come across some beautiful scenery, we scramble to capture it using our phonesāand then get frustrated when we realize that photos just never give these things justice? Yeah. Ugh.
My wallpaper is one of those moments. It is also a moment that shifted my perspective about the Fear of Missing Out (or FOMO, as we millennials like to say).
What is it that we should be scared of missing out on life? And could we have been missing out on so much all this time?
Hereās what I think:

š A Beautiful Poem
When I shared this poem on Twitter, a friend replied, āWhat are your top three of Pabloās warnings (if youās/when youās)?ā
I think that was a very good question. My answer was:
ā¦if you donāt listen to the sounds of life
ā¦when you kill your self-esteem
ā¦if you donāt risk whatās safe for the uncertain
I encourage you to reflect on the poem as well and think about which parts resonate with you mostāand why.
Thatās it for this week. Donāt miss out on the beauty of everyday life! Keep your head up and your hands free, and youāll be on your way toā¦
Create the good life,
ā¤ļø Ria
