#24 Why She Does Certain Things
A tiny love story

I’m back! And today’s newsletter is short and special. A special someone is celebrating her birthday, so this edition is for her. A love story in 100 words. :)
It’s beyond me why she does certain things. In college, I wanted to attend a summer program in Paris. Unable to bear the thought of me being alone in a foreign country, she stayed in the same city the whole time to have her peace of mind – and I, my experience. Today I have my own apartment. And she’d take long detours to bring me home-cooked food. Once, she gave me chopped chives. “Chives?”, I thought. “Right! She knows I like garnishing my meals with them.” I don’t tell her enough, but I’m incredibly grateful for my mom’s outrageous love.
