I loved reading this Ria!! Super relate to this shame of not producing enough, and the liberation of giving yourself grace. Thank you for sharing this ✨

I loved all of this, but as an aside, I laughed at "I mysteriously found myself pushing 30" because I, too, turned 30 this year and felt very similarly.

I've read a line somewhere that also helped me, similar to giving myself grace: 'There is no such thing as wasted potential.' It's not always that simple, of course, but I believe we often feel like we could have done more. However, when we consider everything, our output truly reflects the best we could have done at the time. There isn't any 'more' to give, and nothing was wasted. It helped to not constantly look for that 'more.' i enjoyed reading this piece! and as a fellow dog mom, they can really be a handful!

This was a beautiful piece; it definitely hit home in the best of ways. I love your writing and will continue to enjoy it whenever it brings you joy to produce it.
